Spido Games
Privacy Policy
How information is handled when you play our games, visit our website or contact us.
1. Who is responsible?
Spido Games is a brand operated by ATK Bilisim Ltd. Sti., a company established in Türkiye. ATK Bilisim Ltd. Sti. is the data controller for the processing described in this policy. The policy covers games released under the Spido Games brand that link to it, the websites at spidogames.com, and support requests sent to us. Feature availability varies by game; where a game processes information differently, its own notice says so.

2. Information we handle
Support by email
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you send. We use them only to answer you and to follow up on your request.
In-game bug reports
Some of our games include a “Report a problem” form. Sending a report is voluntary. The form does not ask for your name or email address, and it does not attach your Steam account ID or a unique device identifier.
A report contains the description and category you enter; the game name, version and build identifier; the time of the report; your operating system, processor, memory and graphics card; resolution and graphics settings; the current scene, selected language and session length; and the game’s most recent warning and error messages. Where the form offers a screenshot option, a screenshot of the game is attached unless you turn it off before sending.
Reports are sent to our report server, which forwards them to our team through Discord and email. The report server receives your IP address as part of the connection and uses it only to limit abuse, for example to block automated floods of reports; the address is held in memory for that purpose and is not stored with the report. If a report cannot be sent, the game keeps it on your device instead.
Please do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in a report. The message, screenshot and error messages can contain whatever is visible in the game or in your text, so what you write and what is on screen is up to you.
Local saves and Steam
Our games store progress, settings and diagnostic files on your device. For games that support Steam Achievements or Steam Cloud, Valve processes achievement data and synchronises supported save files according to your Steam settings; these features are not available in every game, and demos do not use them. Valve handles Steam accounts, purchases and platform services under its own Privacy Policy.
Website visits
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, cookies for tracking or any other visitor analytics on our websites. Our websites are hosted on an OVH virtual server in Germany and delivered through Cloudflare, which protects the server and speeds up delivery. To deliver pages, Cloudflare and our server receive connection information, including your IP address, the page requested and your browser type. Our server does not keep visitor access logs; Cloudflare processes connection data for security under its own Privacy Policy. We do not use this information to profile visitors.
Game pages that include a YouTube trailer load the player only after you choose to play the video. Playback then connects your browser to YouTube, which processes information under Google’s Privacy Policy. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, which reduces but does not eliminate that processing. Links to Steam, Discord, social networks and other external sites take you to services with their own privacy notices.
Press and creators
If you are a journalist or content creator, we may contact you using contact details you have made public, or that you gave us, to share information about our games. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to the message or emailing us.
3. Why we use information, and on what legal basis
We process information only for the purposes below. The legal bases are given under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and, for people in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, under the GDPR.
| Activity | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Support email | Answering your request and following up | Necessary to respond to a request you made (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c), GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); otherwise our legitimate interest in providing support (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f), GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| In-game bug reports | Investigating faults and improving the game | Our legitimate interest in keeping the game working, balanced against the limited information the report contains (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f), GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Sending a report is voluntary. |
| Website connection data and server logs | Delivering pages and protecting the server | Our legitimate interest in running a secure website (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f), GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Press and creator contact | Sharing information about our games | Our legitimate interest in promoting our games (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f), GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) |
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising or make automated decisions about you. If we ever introduce something that needs your consent, such as a newsletter, we will ask for it separately and explain it at that point; this policy will be updated accordingly.
5. Storage and retention
- Bug reports are kept on our report server for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically. The copies delivered to our Discord channel and email are deleted automatically after seven days.
- Support emails are kept while we handle your request and for a limited time afterwards so we can follow up, then deleted.
- Website connection data is not logged by our server. Cloudflare’s own retention applies to its security logs.
- Local save, settings and diagnostic files stay on your device until you delete them or the game replaces them. Steam Cloud copies, where supported, are controlled through Steam.
Where a legal obligation requires us to keep something longer, we keep only what that obligation covers, for as long as it applies.
6. Children
Our games, websites and support services are not directed at children under 13, and Steam requires users to be at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your choices and rights
You choose whether to email us, whether to send an in-game report and whether to include a screenshot in it, whether to load a YouTube trailer, and how Steam Cloud behaves through your Steam settings.
Under KVKK Article 11 you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information about that processing, its purpose and whether it is used accordingly; to know the recipients in Türkiye and abroad; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, and deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met; to ask that corrections and deletions be notified to recipients; to object to a result produced solely by automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you additionally have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under the GDPR, including the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] or write to the postal address above. Tell us how you interacted with us and what you are asking for. We may need to verify that a request comes from you, but please do not send identity documents unless we ask for a specific, proportionate verification step. Requests under KVKK are answered within 30 days, free of charge unless the law allows a fee. You can also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu) or, in the EEA or UK, to your local data protection supervisory authority.
8. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our games, websites or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the current version; material changes to how we handle your information will also be announced in the game or on the website where relevant.
